True love never forgets.

Blurb: After a terrible car accident, Laura’s memories of the life she and Steve shared since childhood are gone. They return to their home and routine, in hopes that her memories will come back on their own. Steve is determined to do whatever it takes to win back her love and get back on schedule with their wedding as planned---memories or not. His intentions are to keep things simple, though the days that follow are anything but routine.

Although Steve is willing to try almost anything, there is a big part of their past that he keeps from her, afraid that it could do more harm than good. When a talent agent from Laura’s past show up, Steve is forced to confront the secret he’s been hiding and convince Laura to pursue a dream she claims she doesn’t want.

Teaser:

Steve picked her up and put her on the island. With a hand at each side of her, he kept his eyes focused on hers. “I love you.”

“I know. I believe you.”

“I’m never going to ask you to do something you’re not comfortable with. Do you trust me?”

“Of course I trust you. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t.”

“Well good. I’m glad you do, because I’m not so sure I trust me anymore.”

“Why is that, Steve?”

“I need your input. I’m wingin’ it here, but other than getting you to scold me, you’re not making much progress.”

“It’s only been two days.”

“And they were crazy days at that. I’m supposed to keep you to a routine and it has been anything but that.”

“But I’m happy. It’s frustrating not to remember things, but…I can’t explain it. I’m just…happy.”

“You’re the one who’s sick. Why is it that you’re comforting me?”

“You did say you were a mother hen. You’re worrying too much. I’m not really sick. I don’t need doting over.” She paused for a bit and reached for her coffee. “We can make this interesting.”

“How’s that?”

“You can ‘woo’ me.”

“‘Woo you?’”

“I get a first date again,” she said with a wide smile.

“You already woke up in my arms. That’s a little backward.”

“Let me spend the day with you. Let’s see those ‘show off’ tricks you talked about. See if you can get me to fall for you again.”

“This was the beauty of being engaged. I didn’t have to pull any stunts to win you over. I already had you.”

“Not in my head right now, you don’t.”

He leaned against the opposite counter. He was dragging his feet on the outside but on the inside, he thought it would actually be fun. “What do you want to do?”

“What would you do with me?”

“You don’t want to hear what I want to do with you right now.”

“Besides that.” She blushed
