Wife, Mother, Writer, Lunatic. Not necessarily in that order.

"There is a fine line between genius and crazy... I like to use that line as a jump rope!"

June, who prefers to go by Bug, was born in Philadelphia but moved to Maui, Hawaii when she was four. She met her “Prince Charming” on Kauai and is currently living “Happily Ever After” in Minnesota.

Her son and daughter are her greatest accomplishments. She takes pride in embarrassing them every chance she gets.

Being hopelessly addicted to 80's music is her superpower.

There is no cable TV in her home, but her second passion to books is movies. The Princess Bride, Notting Hill, Timeline, and a Knight's Tale can be found playing over and over again.

You can take the girl outta the island, but you can't take the island outta the girl. ~ Me

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I'm the worst at promoting myself in every possible avenue there is. We'd been at our house for 2 years - my neighbor just found out I write. Yeah... I suck at talking about "me."

So...I thought I should add to my "about me" page with what I do for a day job.

The site needs work - I'll get to it in-between sequels! - but you'll get the idea. If you want something engraved, we will do our best to accommodate you!

***we're not active anymore, but do still have the machine. I like making the impossible happen so write if you're desperate. ;) *****

Organizations

MN authors I mention in interviews. Other than these2 guys, all you'll catch me reading are my friends!

Saw him too...just gotta go again with a shirt to complete my "stalking" trifecta. :)

Brian Freeman

Yeah, I know. Killer logo! ;) That's my dog Otter. (no longer with us. *sniff*)

If I'm going to do something, it's going to be fun.

Just because people thought I couldn't top that, I named our wood engraving division.

Life is too short not to laugh! Give me a holler if you have any questions!

                                             ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I've picked up an old hobby. We spend A LOT of time in the car and I can no longer find myself just sitting and watching TV.

I need to be doing 2 things at once at all times!

These are for a couple nieces.

(Patterns by Yarn Geekery)

One for my great nephew. I had to draw a few myself.

Others were perler bead patterns.

And one for my Grandson

(my own pattern)

And the other Grandson - Blippi!

(1st attempt at my own pattern)

Other grandson: Squirrel he liked (when he was little) Tag from Go, Dog. Go! he did not! LOL

I thought C2C would be a nightmare, but it's fun

creating your own patterns.

I had help with the patterns here. I'm amazed how well they came out!

(Shoutout to Sue at Bitchin' Graphs on Facebook for the pattern help.)

Scarves are an ongoing trend...

stay tuned

I saw this on Facebook or Insta, and had to give it a whirl.

People have asked, so I'll share what I used.

Found this free rat pattern, and just changed colors. I loved how the pieces were sewn in as you went. I will look into more from this gal for sure!

For the hat, it's a basic chain 12, a row of hdc, then 2 hdc in same stitch around for a few rows, then hdc together until you can sew it shut. (Really, just wing it, but you can E-mail me if you want specifics.) Brim is 2 sc in each stitch.

I've made 2. I sewed on a small white patch for the eye for one, the other I just satin stitched. It was easier and I like it better.

The $1.25 store was great for hair clips and headbands. :)

I wore it to work with my skates one day. Someone commented, "We are watching your slow mental decline." Someone else said, "It's not all that slow." LOL

Finding free patterns rocks!

Pokemon for the kids! More will come.

Minon #1. (Minimal cussing required)

There's a "B" on his chest because he's MY minion. ;)

There was a theme going on here for a while...

And then hats....                                One for my grandson for his fire truck kick.

And more just because.....

Now...a superhero kick. :)
